does hair always have to be conditioned?

Antone Bual: Of course it doesn't have to be conditioned. That's just a ploy to sell more conditioner. Actually it makes your hair dull if you do it every time you wash. It reminds me of how Breck shampoo doubled their sales overnight with one word. The instructions on the bottle said "Lather well and rinse." They added the word "Repeat."

Percy Seiger: I do not use a hair dryer. All I do is wash it, gently comb it and I'm good to go.

Collin Barter: It is similar to why skin has to be moisturized with lotion. Your hair will dry up if it is not conditioned, and it doesn't matter what shampoo you use, other elements in the environment can be damaging over time, like UV rays, cold weather, and even water. Conditioning your hair provides a shield, rebuilds proteins that may be broken down by the environment, and keeps your hair hydrated.. not to mention its detangling properties which minimizes damage caused by brushing....Show more

Morris Cuomo: Hair does n! ot need to be conditioned but it always has to be clean. If you do us a deep conditioner it is fine.

Cherry Stampka: acutally i would recommend conditioning everyday not washing. that will actually protect your hair. or just wash/condition everyother daygood luck :)

James Langmyer: It's a good idea to condition your hair regularly. Because it helps moisturize your hair so it won't be dried. It also helps protects and repairs your hair so conditioner is pretty much a must. You don't have to do it everytime you wash your hair, but it's a good idea to. If you tend to blowdry your hair, I would really recommend conditioning. Otherwise if you do it once or twice a week, it should be fine.
