Carter Dewater: a vegetarian starter kit from this link may helphttp://www.goveg.com/ORDER.ASP also, i would suggest NOT eating your familiar foods minus the meat, or you will immediately notice the distance.try new recipes with new flavours, then it can be as exciting as it is beneficial.good luck :)
Madlyn Fallis: I hate the perception that people have that vegetarians eat chicken or fish. by their very definition, vegetarians do not eat MEAT! :)'vegetarians' eat seafood are called pescatarians.
Hilton Paiva: Nope. If you eat seafood you are not a vegetarian at all, but an omnivore.
Giovanna Sherlin: step 1: stop eating meat
Donte Schoenhals: Uhhh... How could we give you an suggestion, when you don't even tell what country you are in let alone what city. You post this in the vegetarian section, does it need to be veg or vegan?
Virgilio Echter: im making dinner for my faimly, and its really cold outside! . my dad is a huge meat lover but likes to try new things, and i told him we could try a vegetarian meal (he could use one with all the meat he eats!) any suggestions?
Renita Sefton: Not really. Some people do for various reasons: Some Jews will avoid eating most meats because they don't want to deal with all the kosher laws, but vegetables and fish are easy to discern as Kosher, so for convenience sake, they become pescitarians. Also some people don't mind eating fish because their attention span seems to be really low, so it couldn't possibly be a significant life.On the other hand, I never personally knew any vegetarians to eat fish.I feel that even if a fish is stupid, it's their right to be stupid (not hurting me any). If they only remember 3 seconds, that's their 3 seconds, I don't feel I have the right to take that from them. Also, how do they know where they're going if they can't remember where they were three seconds ago? Salmon travel incredible distances, a! nd seem to always find where they're heading. I'm not saying t! hat there might be some incredible scientific data showing a low attention span on fish, I'm just saying, that they accomplish things, so therefore their lives mean something and once again, it's not my right to take that from them.I worry that the typical questions of âdo you eat fishâ are aimed at poking holes in your lifestyle. Most people who turn vegetarian have thought about what they're doing, and most meat eaters haven't. So in comparison, our lives make theirs look very shallow, they don't want to change, so they try to make us look worse. I hate these kinds of questions, they always range from âdo you eat chickenâ to âdo you eat venus fly traps, because they eat fliesâ (that one was a winner). They're always lacking in thought and typically far from being relevant to typical vegetarians....Show more
Marty Tichnell: Stop eating meat slowly. Try to pass it when you go out to eat. Then don't make it at home. And when your at your relatives house tel! l them before time that you are a vegetarian. Hope This Helps!
Dexter Gold: I don't know how to explain it... if you don't want to eat it, then don't."doc", did you even read the whole question? It has nothing to do with "cruelty". It seems like you're just trying to flame vegetarians in the vegetarian section just because you have nothing better to do, which is kind of sad IMO.
Jannette Kotz: No all seafood makes me sick
Denna Prudente: Maybe a start would be to start substituting meat for vegetarian or vegan alternatives and slowly ween yourself off of it. Yves makes a decent meat substitute.
Cody Petrulis: go on you tube and watch some animal video's on animal factories etc.I saw 2 video's on there that changed my life forever. I am now a vegan.if you love animals seeing them being tortured would cure you from wanting to eat them or wear them.

Rufus Plough: eww i don't.i still don't consider people who eat seafood vegetarian.people go vegetarian cause they care about animals, and yet they still eat fish...... that doesn't really support their ideas on becoming vegetarian if their still going to eat fish.
Lewis Ranft: Vegetarians do not eat dead animals. Period. The people asking you if you eat seafood are ignorant and have been misled by other ignorant people who run around calling themselves vegetarians when they very clearly are not.
Clement Viscarro: Leaving husba! nd alone on Christmas?
Providencia Serpe: it rather relies upon on how strict you want to be, or the excuses you have for being a vegetarian. you may nicely be a lax semi-vegetarian and consume ordinarily vegetables, grains, legumes with some fish, rooster, dairy products, and eggs. or you will possibly be a strict uncooked foodstuff vegan or fruitarian. it rather relies upon on what foodstuff plan fits your existence sort or your foodstuff tolerance.
Arnulfo Seegars: Is it doctor recomended? You can try Watching Televison shows about animals being tortured in order for people to eat its honestly sad watching it.or u have to say NO everytme you have a crave for meat and ahve the fact that its bad for you.
Jestine Osumi: stop buying meat
Marna Liddie: Be yourself and go wherever you think is best. Ermelinda Stalnaker: i need help cause every time i eat it herts my heart , i herd its bad 4 me in that case , i wanna know how i can stop eating it.

Ricardo Rozelle: No vegetarian eats seafood.
Nelly Kikuchi: Try to go somewhere where, cliché as it may be, you can get dinner and a show (or other entertainment.) One of my first ever dates was to a Renaissance Festival. Considering the season, ice skating, skiing, or snow boarding may be in order, followed by some hot chocolate and and lunch in the lounge. ! Movies are always a great choice, and the theater here has its own restaurant. Many museums have interesting exhibits and food courts as well. Better yet, look your town or city up on trip advisor and see what is suggested for couples. Good luck!...Show more

Melissa Lavallie: Vegetarians don't eat seafood. Those things in the shells are animals, therefore vegetarians don't eat them.
Sabra Roers: I'm scared of sharks
Sabra Roers: Yeah, I finally figured out that there is a foundation, "Nemours" that does get health care to children but also writes a lot from a position of authority including the sites Kid's Health and Teen's Health and they are the ones spreading and promoting the whole STUPID idea of "semi-vegetarian" and "pollo! -vegetarian" and "pesco-vegetarian" to a whole bunch of other sites and! news organizations.I think people should write to them in protest because they are causing all kinds of problems and issues including people making "vegetarian" menus for restaurants and weddings that include fish and chicken and people serving others in their home with "vegetarian" ingredients and actually arguing that chicken broth and shrimp are vegetarian which leads to hurt feelings, anger, and hunger. If those who eat nothing but poultry or fish need a label then they can call themselves pollotarians (basically a neologism) and pescetarians which is the official term or perhaps flexitarians. But leave the "VEGE" out of it because it's creating problems and hostility. As Peta2 says, they aren't little swimming vegetables.SAVE THE SEA KITTENS! :)...Show more
Florencia Manolakis: No I don't eat it. Most vegetarians don't as they see sea creatures as well, creatures ... living things! And eating a living thing is going against the whole idea!! I personally think that! anyone who eats seafood and fish isn't a vegetarian... I mean, if you can't resist seafood and feel like you have to eat some bit of meat then you're not really dedicated and it's shameful to even call yourself a vegetarian as you're being a hypocrite. And it's saying that fish don't matter and just cos they live under water they're not classed as being an animal...I think people just want an option so they can still eat meat. If you're gonna eat fish then you might as well just be eating meat again if I'm gonna be honest. It's a bit pointless and idiotic to think you can do that. A Pescetarian is someone who doesn't eat meat but eats fish. The Vegetarian Society actually refused this as being a valid vegetarian diet therefore you cannot be classed a vegetarian if you eat fish or sea food....Show more

Mozell Sponsler: I'm a vegetarian and people always ask me if i eat chicken! Did I miss the biology class when they told us chicken and seafood aren't animals? LOLNo, a true vegetarian does not eat seafood. Fish ARE animals, so by eating one, you are not a vegetarian by definition.
