do drunk people know they are drunk?

Ariel Arons: People's experience when they are drinking varies. I for one know when I am drunk. Most times I recall the events of the night before, but not always.

Marcelle Vanlith: It seems to me that most people know when they're drunk, but some will actively deny it to others if it means they can't have something they want, especially like another drink or their car keys. I've always known when I'm drunk. Sometimes not until I try to get out of my seat, but then there's no mistaking.

Antwan Schrum: I think it depends on the person. Like me for instance i know I'm drunk when I'm drunk and i usually remember it the next day as well.

Dexter Dicostanzo: It varies from person to person but in most cases as people begin to get buzzed they are aware that they are getting drunk but the more they drink the less they realize that they are intoxicated and forget they are drunk.

Cierra Gadbaw: some of them do ... i know when im retarded. Also i have never forgoten the previous night, passout, or blacked out.

Augustus Sarria: It depends. When I have drank alot, most of the time I knew I was beyond buzzed so I was drunk & acted like an ***. I had fun at the time, so I thought. Alot of the time no, being so drunk people don't remember what they did or what they said or how they even got home. It is called a "blackout". Thank god, those days are over for me.
