Sook Hershkowitz: i'm not really sure it can be "treated" but here's a website:http://www.kylestreehouse.org/index.cfm
Ofelia Kieck: Approaches to intervening/assisting individuals with autism vary greatly, but those with the best support are behavioral in nature.
Omar Phipps: Autism is not a disease. It is a brain disfunction and it cannot be treated. I've just run a quick search on eb*y.co.uk and there are lots of books & e-books about autism.
Douglass Sarley: Autism is not a disease. It cannot be cured. My half-brother and nephew are autistic. They have behavioral/psycological therapy and special education to help them live a more normal, healthy life. There are different "degrees" of autism as well. I know many autistic children/adults who live good lives with a little extra help. Its nothing to be afraid or ashamed of either. Good Luck, God Bless.
