Elementary Education major with a concentration in Spanish?

Floy Fague: Spanish is a good choice because it will increase your marketability as a teacher. Many large city schools prefer to hire those who know a second language, especially Spanish. My advice would be to major in Elementary Education which provides a broader range of students, typically grades K-8 in many states. Early Childhood is generally considered Pre-K to third grade in many states (although some states refer to this as Primary Education instead of Early Childhood). As for your minor, I see no reason why it should not be your area of concentration: Spanish would look great as your minor on a resume!A large free website that might be helpful for studying, etc, is www.learner.org...Show more

Hunter Beech: in prime college take public talking and psychology in case your prime college presents it... you can definently ought to take it in school. additionally being an schooling primary is not rough... im an secondary math ed. primary im certain you can lov! e it so long as you'll tolerate little children well success! :)
