I had the same problem with mine - you can turn it off by doing the following:Press the TiVo button, go to the Messages and Settings menu, go to Settings, go to Recording, go to TiVo Suggestions, and select "No, don't record TiVo Suggestions".It should stop acting like a bored housewife. =)...Show more
Jorge Detlefs: Okay... I dont have it but I hear that once it gets a "flavour" for your tastes it will start taping stuff it thinks you may like...are you a bored housewife or a gay man who loves interior decorating??? If not then I'm guessing it's busted. Good luck figuring it out :)
Ignacio Imbier: turn off suggestions.
Danyell Rowback: My Directv tivo has a setting called "suggestions" in the setup menu. You might want to turn this "off". I guessing the standard tivos have the same thing.
