Robbie Starchman: 1. The .45 ACP cartridge is meant for personal protection, which it does quite well by most accounts. The other cartridges you mentioned (except the ".44 Long?" I've never heard of this.) are more appropriate for hunting game animals.2. The 10mm cartridge suffered from delays in bringing out the first guns chambered for it. Also, the ammo is quite expensive.3. I've never personally seen a .60-caliber firearm, but they might exist. They would most likely be classifie! d as DD's, as you've suggested. Mark Villifana: If I have been finding for a rifle that wasn't so punishing on my shoulder for looking hogs, i could p.c.. any style of calibers sandwiched between a .30-30 and a .308 in scuffling with potential. there is an entire checklist to p.c.. from.......243 Winchester, .40 4 magnum, .3 hundred Savage, .35 Remington, .25-06 Remington, .260 Remington, .270 Winchester, 7 X fifty seven ?Mauser, to call basically some. Hogs are much less predictable than different interest animals whilst it includes finding out on a weapon for taking photos them----some human beings will use a lot lighter rifles, which includes a .223 and state that this is all this is mandatory----on an identical time as human beings will declare that no longer something decrease than a .444 Marlin or a .40 5-70 is had to get the interest executed....Show more
