Picking out a tuner car?

Long Woltjer: well if you like tuners i would recommendd a honda or a sporty toyota. a good one to check out is a civic. very safe, can be fast when tuned right (ifthat'ss what you are looking for) i had one a while back and it wasalrightt

Dana Russian: new or used??? that is a big factor. Ignore that dude who was talking about getting a muscle car. They are way more expensive, need more maintenance, have high insurance payments, etc... As far as new, I'd check out the new civics. There are a lot of good nissans and mazdas too. All of which have good crash ratings I'm sure. As for used, look for a nice mazda rx7 or a really nice tuned honda civic

Roni Kurz: Don't get a riceburner. If you want performance, get a muscle car. An old pontiac firebird with the superduty 455 package will blow the doors off any rice rocket out there. I'm not saying get the car I was talkin about, but get some American muscle. Get somethin with the chevy ls1 engine. It'll take any ! rice burner too. As for the safety thing...that lies with the driver. Just don't wreck it. Muscle cars are so much more fun. And they sound WAY better. I hate the sound of all those little honda civics driving around. They sound like they have a weedeater engine under the hood....Show more
