Why can I not connect my home computers to my wireless network?

Willis Liburd: EXACTLY what does "connect to my network" mean? Your network itself doesn't have anything *to* connect to.If you mean the internet, make certain that the signal the computer is trying to connect to is *your* signal, not a neighbor's signal with the same name (that has been set to use a password, most likely). The easiest way to do that is to change the SSID of your router to something unique (and not anything that can identify it as yours). Something random - like sam102 (unless your name is sam) - is good. Connecting to the wrong signal is usually the reason you're asked for a password when your router hasn't had one set.If you mean connecting to the router itself, ALL routers have a default username and password. Look in the manual for yours....Show more
